Medication Auto Ordering

Rule-driven medication ordering with prescription, dosage, treatment-period, state, and pharmacy constraints.
Problem
Medication ordering has constraints across prescriptions, dosage, treatment periods, state rules, and pharmacies. The workflow needed to automate eligible orders without removing a safe manual path.
What I built
- A rule-driven medication-ordering workflow with Redis-backed routing.
- Validation, failure logging, escalation, and manual fallback paths.
- Processing that automated approximately 3,000–5,000 of roughly 10,000 daily orders.
Outcome
The system automated a substantial share of daily medication orders while preserving escalation and manual fallback for orders that could not safely proceed automatically.
